    Monthly Expenses Workbook

Let’s talk about the fun stuff… like financial planning 💤💤💤💤. All kidding aside, financial planning is SUCH an important part of being financially responsible and independent. I don’t know where I would be without my Monthly Expenses Workbook. Being able to visually see where all of my money is going each month has been vital to me staying sane, LOL! I’ve created this basically as a How To Financial Plan guide. I’ve replicated my Monthly Expenses Workbook for you all, as a disclaimer the numbers and figures in the Workbook are in NO WAY REPRESENTATIVE of my personal finances and expenses. I’ve simply put in placeholder figures in order for the formulas to…

    TRAVEL DIARY: PUERTO RICO

YOU GUYS! I know that I sound like a broken record at this point, but I’m seriously still sitting in awe and gratitude for our Puerto Rico trip. I figured that I should do a full blog post on it so that I have a way to share our trip with you all & a resource for what we did/ate/saw, incase you’re looking to travel there soon! But also as a way for Billy and I to look back on this trip and have some form of a diary detailing all that we did and experienced while there. It was honestly the trip of a lifetime. We left on Thursday…

How to “Adult” in 2018… Post Grad Survival Guide

WARNING: mental breakdowns, tears and lots of excitement ahead! 😂 It’s that time of year when graduation caps are flying and the U-Haul trucks are rolling up to campuses ready to move graduating seniors out of their college apartments. Just one year ago, this was me! For those of you who don’t know, I graduated college from a rural school in Pennsylvania! I studied Communications, Public Relations & Digital Communication/New Media. Basically, I learned an absurd amount of facts about Aristotle and Plato and learned basic coding, website building and learned that I’m really good at Adobe InDesign. LOL! All kidding aside, I genuinely enjoyed my college experience – the most…

    Oh Sh*t… I Think I May Be A Perfectionist

Let me preface this post by saying that I have never been diagnosed by a licensed doctor or clinical therapist as having, or being, a “perfectionist”. This post is not intended to offend anyone or negate the clinical research, data or feelings of those who have been “officially” diagnosed as a perfectionist. It’s simply to serve as an eye opener and therapeutic writing session – after all, I view my blog as a personal and open diary with the hopes that it may help and/or inspire someone along the way. This weekend I took the DISC Test – a personality assessment and predictor of how you operate in work, life…

Pretty Blooms x Pink Spring Dress

UGH, Spring = Happiness, am I right?!. As I get older I’ve become more aware of how the seasons take a toll on my mood and overall happiness. I’m not saying that I’m sad by any means, because I’m generally a very happy and upbeat person. BUT, driving home in the dark from work isn’t fun, and stepping out of the car in the frigid cold isn’t either (but I’m a total pro at sprinting… from my car to inside). This year, the east coast winter was bitterly cold with more intense winds than I can ever remember happening. Seriously, there was times that I thought I was…

Real Talk: What I Wish I Learned from College

I don’t regret going to college. In fact, there are so many aspects (besides the obvious  education portion) of college that I really enjoyed. I loved being in a sorority. I loved meeting people from all walks of life. I loved the maturity and growth that it gave me. But, I do wish that college taught me how to deal with “real-world” road blocks such as: overwhelm, stress, time management + scheduling, financial planning, and work/life balance. Overwhelm How I Define It: For me, it’s a persistent feeling of confusion, never ending question marks, and unknown “how do I starts?” It sneaks up on me during periods of change or…

Tiny Details: “Life Is Tricky Baby, Stay In Your MAGIC”

Happy Saturday, loves! I’m such a sucker for jewelry – I love anything shiny and sparkly! I think that accessories are the “cherry on top” to any outfit. A few added touches on your wrists, neckline or ears can add so much to a look. Lately, I’ve been loving bracelets – I like to stack ’em and wear as many as my wrist can fit at once! I like to mix materials and metals – the two beaded bracelets have gold accents while the silver one is made from stainless steel.  The bracelet is actually custom made from Custom Collections By Courtney – it’s a hand stamped plate imprinted with…

Neutral Spring Shoulder Bag x Oliver Bilou

Happy Sunday, loves!! It finally felt like spring this weekend + I couldn’t be happier! For me, warm weather =  sandals and spring bags. I’m a notorious pocket user and without those heavy winter coats, I’m left with no where to store all of my stuff! I’m one who prefers smaller, shoulder bags with a long strap – I find them to be way more functional and easy to carry around. This bag is from Oliver Bilou –– it’s their ‘Taylor’ bag 😍. The neutral, light tan color goes with just about everything and the rose gold hardware is such a nice added touch. The metal feet protect the bottom of the…

Spring Foundation Review: Laura Mercier x Influenster

Happy Saturday! Having combination/oily skin can be so frustrating at times! Sometimes I’m scared to hug people because I don’t want my makeup to rub off on their clothes 😂. Seriously, it happens a lot & now that we’re moving into the spring/summer seasons I need to be extra cautious! Finding a foundation and concealer that can power through and last on my oilier spots is always an uphill battle. Finding a foundation and concealer that don’t break me out, now that’s even harder. On a typical day, I’ll wear liquid foundation and spot conceal any trouble areas. I still occasionally breakout on my forehead, and find myself needing extra coverage for those…
